Rowan is a director and co-founder of Firefly Capital.
After completing his articles at Deloitte, Rowan was employed at Standard Bank for 6 years where he worked in the corporate finance, leveraged buy-out and private equity areas within the bank. Following this role, he joined Credit Management Solutions, where he was primarily responsible for managing the corporate debt advisory business and was integral to the success of CMS and disposed of his interest in CMS in 2006.
Rowan established the Pioneer Trust with Sabvest and developed the business which provided management of institutional investments.
He was instrumental in the creation of Summer Mobile and co-founded Nimble Group.
Rowan has over ten years experience in credit, consulting, outsourced collections management, distressed debt advisory work, financial capital, debt restructuring, corporate finance, private equity and venture capital, and has established Nimble Group as a substantial business servicing most of the largest credit granters in South Africa, employing over 1,500 staff.

Trevor is a director and co-founder of Firefly Capital.
After completing his articles at Deloitte, Trevor held corporate finance positions both locally and abroad, with Investec and then Standard Bank London. After returning to South Africa he co-founded Credit Management Solutions, which was sold in 2006.
Trevor is co-founder of Summer Mobile, Nimble Group and Brickfield Group and has lead the turnaround of Norman Bissett & Associates and was part of the team that turned around Creditworx. He has also been actively involved in several other private equity investments. He has over ten years of senior operating and board level experience.
One of Trevor's passions is building businesses. This is usually achieved by forming genuine partnerships, by being available, sharing experiences, empathising, listening and mentoring and creating a personal track record of delivery and success.
Trevor’s transaction experience covers a wide range of business financing transactions including: start-up funding; second round funding; private and public equity; restructuring advisory and funding work; and distressed investing in both consumer and corporate assets.
Trevor is also a director of Atlantic Capital and Alpine Ridge Investments, which are two asset management companies and Brickfield Group.
